The funds have been disbursed to cater for various key areas, with all categories receiving 100 percent of their planned allocations.

The breakdown of the funds shows that Shs 4,177,685,996 has been allocated for wages, ensuring that salaries for government workers in the district are fully covered for the financial year. This will support the timely payment of teachers, health workers, and other civil servants critical to service delivery in the district.

Non-wage recurrent expenditures have been provided for as well, with Shs 2,952,153,361 allocated. These funds are crucial for supporting the day-to-day operations of various departments, including maintenance of facilities, administrative costs, and service delivery activities across Soroti District.
