Soroti District Local Government Commissioned Three Deep Well (Boreholes) of Abule “A” in Tubur Sub county. Aladoi Oyomai Kamuda sub county. Apuuton Agama Village, former Kamuda sub county and now of Soroti City West. The commissioning exercise was headed by RDC Patrick Okumu, and the team of Katende Hussein the deputy RDC, Hon Rose Tino, District Women Councilor of Tubur Sub county and Tubur Town Council, who is also Chairperson works committee, the CAO Luke L.L Lokuda and the district technical staff.

At least 8 Deep Well-Boreholes were drilled across the district in the previous financial year with each costing a total of Shs 19,446,400, from DDEG funding.

More completed infrastructure projects are lined up for commissioning this week.
