THE JOURNEY TO EXCELLENCE: FLAGGING OFF HEAD TEACHERS FOR A BENCHMARK VISIT

"The sun was shining bright as the head teachers of Soroti District Primary Schools gathered in the district headquarters courtyard, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation.
They were about to embark on a journey to excellence, a benchmark visit to model schools in Gulu district and Gulu City.

Numbering to 14 head teachers from the selected different Primary schools across the district, left on Sunday evening, they are lead by Inspector of Schools, Mrs.Icimu Mildred.
The district education officer, Mr James Oede stood by their side, a warm smile on his face.

"Today, we flag off our esteemed head teachers on a journey to discover best practices, to learn from the best, and to bring back innovative ideas to transform our schools." Said Oede.
With a wave of his hand, the head teachers boarded the Taxi each one carrying a backpack full of curiosity and a desire to learn.

The head teachers chatted excitedly among themselves, sharing their expectations and hopes for the visit.

We are looking forward to learning new teaching methods, how the model schools in Gulu have made academic improvements, “added, the DEO.
