Soroti Girl Right Initiative-SGRI, a CBO donated Soroti District Local Government ONE Oxygen gas cylinder. SGRI is a partnered with Soroti district Local Government and is operating in Arapai sub county.

SGRI last month held a Reflection Meeting on Situational Analysis with Representatives from Different Stakeholders at Soroti Lukiko hall. SGRI is aimed at reducing gender based violence and child marriage. With gender equality at the centre of their mission statement, SGRI aims to campaign for girls' right to education and advocate against human rights abuses.

Christine Aumo, the Director SGRI on Monday last week delivered to the office of the DHO. Aumo said the SGRI brought the Oxygen gas cylinder to help the district in treating the COVID-19 patients.

Dr Charles Okadhi, DHO and District Probation Officer Amos Oluka received the Oxygen gas cylinder. Dr Okadhi applauded the SGRI for the support.
